Busy Bee!

It's now been two weeks since school started back for me and in that time I have managed to get into a fight at work, I came to the realization that some friends weren't really my friends, to begin with, and I went to a baby shower that allowed me to meet my 5-month-old cousin and celebrate another one that is on the way. So many busy things are happening in the world Anna lately it has given me very little time to write than I would like.

I have always felt that work is the place you go to work. You don't have to be happy you just need to pay your bills. It is definitely not the place to complain about the job or your boss with other coworkers. If you have a problem with your job talk to someone who can fix it or find a new job. If you dislike your boss then I would recommend you find another job. It is really that simple for me. So I did something about a not-so-quiet conversation that I heard and well that caused world war three to break out. I was cornered and yelled at in the drive-thru for customers to hear and co-workers to catch on camera. I don't like confrontation, conflict, or drama, yet I put myself in the middle. And as much as I dislike the outcome I do not regret my actions. If you don't want people to know you talk about them then don't talk about them especially not at work. Again it is that simple but some people don't see it that way. What would you have done?

My losing friends has nothing to do with work. It has to do with me reaching out to old friends and trying to get back in touch with them and them not wanting anything to do with me even when I try to explain things. And I deserve it. I wasn't a very good friend to them in my darkest times. But I still feel sad, like I have lost a piece of myself and it will forever be missing. One friend did welcome me back with open arms so to speak. She texts and communicates with me like no time has passed at all and she has been so understanding and wonderful.

I went to a really adorable peach-themed baby shower for my little cousin that is on the way. It was at the lake so there was beautiful water nearby and mimosas were first come first serve.  Games were played like guessing the size of the mom-to-be's waist and how many sour patch kids were in the jar. It was a lot of fun and great to see my family. I don't get to see them often enough and watching my cousins' family grow makes me so happy.

And all this while keeping up with schoolwork. It's been pretty exhausting but I am managing. Monday brings the start of my fifth class giving me an incredibly full schedule for the semester. but I am still going to be writing. It just might take a little more time to get things posted. So please bare with me!
